Free calling, excellent quality, anytime anywhere on the internet, to any registered Raketu user. See Getting Started to set up your contacts and invite friends to register.

Your Raketu contacts are displayed on the Raketu Contacts tab, and through Raketu's presence technology, indicate their current status and if they are on-line or not. Their icons reflect their status. Single clicking and 'resting' the mouse over the contact will reveal the RakID, the contacts local time, and more information.

Calling on-line contacts can be done by either highlighting the contact and clicking the green Call/Answer icon, or by right clicking on the contact and selecting Call/Dial Out, or by double clicking on the contact. The right click menu also offers you other options such as Raketu Instant Messenger, Send Files, send SMS, Conference to name just few.

Plug in your Headset

Audio quality is best when you use an integrated headset with a microphone. (standard sound card colour coding is red for microphone and green for speaker--check your connections with your manufacturers instructions!) Or if you have an IP phone, you can use that too. You can also use a free standing microphone with speakers, but your party on the other end may experience echos with this arrangement.

Adjust Volume and System Settings Go to Tools / Options to select your audio system settings. Test your audio by clicking Start button for Test Sound Device.
