Can I make Raketu sound better?

a) Set up microphone and speakers.
Go to Tools -> Options -> Audio. Click on the drop down menu and select the desired microphone and speaker to be used in RakOut service. Make sure to click the “Accept” button to apply the changes.

b) Test your microphone and speakers.
Go to Tools -> Options -> Audio. Click on the "Start" button next to the sentence "Test your sound device" Speak to the microphone and you will hear yourself in your speakers or headsets. This confirms that your sound has been setup correctly. Now just click on the "Stop" button to stop sound test.

c) Set the audio quality to high.
Go to Tools -> Options -> RakIn/RakOut. Check the box “Use High Quality Calling“ if it is unchecked OR uncheck the box if it is checked. Then click on “Accept“. This will change the codec for Raketu calls. If you do not see any change in the call quality, uncheck the box and click on the "accept". The original setting is the most suitable for majority of computers.

d) Turn off Joost, Skype and other soft phones.
Many of Raketu users informed us of the fact that Raketu sound degrades during a Raketu calling if Joost, Skype or other softphones are turned on. This is due to Joost, Skype’s supernodes (see explanation on what is supernode) and other possible conflicts for resources.
