Some of my ICQ contacts are not showing up in Raketu Multi-Messenger?
There has been changes in original ICQ code. It can happen that an ICQ contact added in original ICQ client will not show in Raketu Multi-Messenger, yet you see this contact in original ICQ client. You can add the ICQ contact in Raketu Multi-Messenger, which will solve the problem with synchronization of these two applications. But if you have already added a contact in original ICQ, and you do not see the contact in Raketu Multi-Messenger here is how you solve this:
Close Raketu program or exit Multi-Messenger and log in to ICQ.
- Create and name a new group in original ICQ client see the picture below. To create new group in ICQ, right click in ICQ program->Create New Group -> Name the group->click Create.
- Move (drag and drop) the contacts you can not see in Raketu Multi-Messenger (but you see them in original ICQ client) to this new group.
- Close ICQ and login to Raketu/Multi-Messenger. Your new group and the contacts will appear in Multi-Messenger . You can now move them to any group in Multi-Messenger and delete the new group you have just created or you can keep this new group. It is up to you.
- As we mentioned before to avoid this, just add your ICQ contact directly in Multi-Messenger. You do not need to have ICQ running on your computer.
To create new group in ICQ, right click in ICQ program->Create New Group -> Name the group->click Create. Drag the contacts you can not see into this new group. Close ICQ and login to Raketu Multi-Messenger. You can now see your contacts.
