Error Message 1- Windows Vista Error

Raketu is compatible with Windows Vista. However you may come across with the following errors :

1. “No class registered”
2. “Failed to set data for”
3. IpTV: “The file you are attempting to play has an extension (.pls) that does not match the file format playing the file may result in unexpected behavior. Do you want the player to try to play this content?
4. Media Player (Video):-“A problem occurred in initializing MCI”
5. “Media Player (MP3):- “No “MCI” device open”.
6. “RakOut.exe RAKOUT HAS STOPPED FUNCTIONING - WINDOWS WILL TRY TO FIND A SOLUTION”. Download fix here
   
   
   

Once you install the Raketu software successfully, you need to follow the following steps:

1. Exit the Raketu software. Double click on my computer and go to C: Program Files->
2. You will see Raketu folder here, right click in Raketu folder, and left click on Properties.
3. Click on the “Security” tab; select your computer user name and click “Edit”. If you do not see your user name you need to add it by clicking on “Add”.
4. Once you click on “Edit” select you user name once again and click on Full access(permission) [Make sure you have the write and modify right]
5. Click OK.
6. Then Right click on your Raketu Icon on the desktop then click “Properties” and then click on “Compatibility” tab then check the option “Run this program as an administrator” and then click on “Apply” and “Ok".

Error Message 2- RakOut Error

If you receive this error: MSVCP71.dll not found, download the following file and install it. Click on the link and follow the instruction:

Error Message 3 - Installation Error

Raketu-install.exe is not a valid win32 program?

How come when I click on the download Windows says that Raketu-install.exe is not a valid win32 program?

After you download Raketu-install.exe, you may encounter a Microsoft generated error stating that the downloaded program is not a valid win32 application - this is not the case. To fix this, right mouse click over the file and select Properties from the popup menu. From the properties (near the bottom) select UNBLOCK this file, save the changes, and proceed with the installation by double-clicking on the file.

Error Message 4 - ICQ Multi-Messenger Error

If you receive an Error while setting up ICQ in Raketu's Multi-Messenger you need to download this patch. This error is windows error:

Turn OFF Raketu, install the patch and then setup ICQ in the Multi-Messenger.
