I can hear them, but they cannot hear me?
Complete audio setup for Raketu and windows:
a) Set up microphone and speakers.
Go to Tools -> Options -> Audio. Click on the drop down menu and select the desired microphone and speaker to be used in RakOut service. Make sure to click the “Accept” button to apply the changes.
b) Test your microphone and speakers.
Go to Tools -> Options -> Audio. Click on the "Start" button next to the sentence "Test your sound device" Speak to the microphone and you will hear yourself in your speakers or headsets. This confirms that your sound has been setup correctly. Now just click on the "Stop" button to stop sound test.
Even if you tested the audio setup in Raketu (Tools->Options->Audio), it can still be effected by the windows when making a call.
In some window setups, if you are using USB device, you need to make sure your microphone is correctly set up.1. Click on START-Control Panel" -> "Sounds and Audio devices" -> click on "Audio" tab.
2. Make sure you have a correct device selected in this "recording section" You can choose device for microphone from drop down menu. Then click on "apply" to save the changes
3.Click on Volume and make sure the microphone is NOT in mute mode.
4.Click on the volume and if you have more than one microphone choice, in the bottom of the microphone volume window, make sure you have selected the microphone and not line or any other device. Make sure you are NOT in mute mode.
