Want to learn how to send SMS from your Raketu?

Once you login to Raketu software click on “Communication->“Send SMS text message“. In the SMS tab select country where is the SMS going ot be send. Then double click on the contact from the list or enter the recipient mobile number. Type in the content of your SMS in the “Message“ text box and just click in “Send“ button. You will see the the status of sending SMS.

If you don’t want to type the SMS number everytime you send SMS, you can always feed in the SMS information into the your phone contact profile. If you already have contact added to your contact list, right click on the contact to open the profile and to add the SMS information.

You can view the logs of your SMS sent under “Call Logs“ tab, click “Communications“ ->“Call Logs“ and then click on “View SMS logs“.

Note: The return address for the SMS service is determined from the user entered SMS address - if you do not have one filled out, it will take your default Private Email Address. In some cases, the carriers will not accept these addresses, so the you will receive our carriers address as the return address.

You can also send SMS from Raketu’s website- RakWeb. Log-in to your account from Raketu’s home page (bottom of the page). To send SMS you need to choose the country to want to send the SMS to. You will see the country code of that country which you need to add as a prefix for sending the SMS under “SMS to” text box. Type in the SMS number in “SMS to” text box (country code as prefix). Type your message content in Message text box. You can send up to 160 characters long SMS message at one time. After you type the SMS message click on "Send" button. Your credit will be automatically updated. Click on the help icon “?“ to seek help if needed.
