RakWeb

RakWeb technology allows you to make phone calls; send SMS and Email from Raketu’s website. To make calls you don’t have to install Raketu client. This makes it very convenient for users who want to use Raketu on their mobile phones. If you can access internet on your phone you can log on to Raketu’s Website and make calls, send SMS at very low rate. You can also manage your profile and your contact list from Raketu’s website.

Using RakWeb service is simple. Type your RaKID and password and login to your account from Raketu’s website (bottom of the page).

Make calls from RakWeb:

To make a RakCall you need add 2 numbers “Call From” and “Call To” number. The “Call From” number is your number. It could be your mobile number; home number; office number. And the “Call To” number is the number you want to call. RakWeb is synchronized with Raketu software so if you have your home, office, and mobile number added under Raketu client it will reflect under your “Call From” number. Click on the blue drop down button next to the calling from number and you will be able to select it. Similarly you can click on blue drop down button next to “Call To” box; you will see your Raketu contacts and phone contact reflecting under “Call To” numbers.

Once you enter the two numbers, click on “Call“ button. Your “Call From“ number will ring first. You need to answer this call in order to get connected. Once you answer this phone your “Call To“ number will be connected.

Your contacts and their details on RakWeb are in sync with the Raketu client software. If you make any changes in your profile, add contact, edit contact, delete contact in RakWeb, it will reflect in Raketu client software and vice versa.

The rates of RakWeb differ from RakOut rates. You can Click Here to see the RakWeb rates. Enter the “From” and the “To” number and then click on the “Rate”, you will now be able to see the rates. Also note if you make a call by entering the “From” and the “To” number, this will ring your “From” number waiting for you to pick up.

Send SMS from RakWeb:

To send SMS you need to choose the country to want to send the SMS to. You will see the country code of that country which you need to add as a prefix for sending the SMS under “SMS to” text box. Type in the SMS number in “SMS to” text box (country code as prefix). Type your message content in Message text box. You can send up to 160 characters long SMS message at one time. After you type the SMS message click on "Send" buttons. SMS been sent. Your credit will be automatically updated.

Send Emails from RakWeb:

Sending Email is absolutely free from Raketu both software and RakWeb. To send an email from RakWeb type in the email address in “send to” text box. Type the subject of the email in the “Subject” box. Type your message content in Message text box. You can send up to 750 characters long email message at one time.
