Raketu for iPhone
You can make 8 different types of calls with Raketu.
Types of calls you can make with iPhone:
RakWeb calls -> phone to phone calls
RakOut calls -> device to phone with RakSIP settings using data plan or WiFi.
RakWeb calls - phone to phone
This new Raketu iPhone web application will allow you to make international calls (free or at Raketu’s ultra-low cost), send SMS and email. Raketu's website optimized for Mobile phones: www.raketu.mobi
How to get it: Raketu’s new iPhone Application is entirely web-based and does not require any download. Just sign up for Raketu and access the service via your iPhone or iPod Touch web browser at: http://iphone.raketu.com
Make sure you have Raketu credits in your Rakaccount and you know how to dial the numbers with Raketu’s webapp.
RakOut calls are different from RakWeb calls. RakOut calls will allow you to make a call directly from your mobile device to the phone. RakOut calls with RakSIP settings will allow you to make calls using data plan or WiFi only.RakOut calls - device to phone with RakSIP settings using data plan or WiFi.
How to setup your iPhone with RakSIP settings:
- Activate RakSIP settings, click here for details.
- On your iPhone phone find SIP software. If you do not see it, just download any SIP software for iPhone. For example you can use SIPGate.com program, it is free to downlaod.
- After you have RakSIP settings (go back to the RakSIP activation window to get the RakSIP settings), start to configure your SIP software on your iPhone with RakSIP settings.
- When setting up SIP software - ID is +19990000xxxxx (RakSIP number)and the password is your RakSIP password not your Raketu password.
