Raketu for Nokia
You can make 8 different types of calls with Raketu.
Types of calls you can make with Nokia:
RakWeb calls -> phone to phone calls
RakOut calls -> device to phone with RakSIP settings using data plan or WiFi.
RakWeb calls - phone to phone
This new Raketu Nokia web application will allow you to make international calls (free or at Raketu’s ultra-low cost), send SMS and email.
How to get it: Raketu’s new Nokia Application is entirely web-based and does not require any download. Just sign up for Raketu and access the service via your Nokia web browser at:

Raketu's website optimized for Mobile phones: www.raketu.mobiRakOut calls are different from RakWeb calls. RakOut calls will allow you to make a call directly from your mobile device to the phone. RakOut calls with RakSIP settings will allow you to make calls using data plan or WiFi only.RakOut calls - device to phone with RakSIP settings using data plan or WiFi.
How to setup your Nokia with RakSIP settings:
- Activate RakSIP settings, click here for details.
- After you have RakSIP settings, start to configure your Nokia.
- Define your WiFi access point under the Access points menu.
- Open SIP Settings section.
- In the SIP Settings menu, enter your RakSIP account details.
- Setup the options. Click on the Registrar server option. Set Registrar serv. addr. to 4.78.4.5, Realm to 4.78.4.5, User name to your +19990000232323 RakSIP ID and Password to your RakSIP Password. Set Port to 5060.
- If everything has been configured correctly then you should see the above status on the SIP settings display. You will probably need to reboot the phone to ensure a successful registration. Once you have achieved successful registration (you will see the word 'Registered' appear) go to Tools -> Settings -> Connections -> Internet Tel. Settings -> Options -> New Profile. Create a new profile and select the relevant SIP URI from the list. Press OK to confirm and save. Enter the profile name of your choice at the prompt that appears and press the Back button to save. You should now be able to make calls using your Nokia
- Every time you wish to dial out using RakSIP you will need to select Options->Call->Internet Call after you have dialled the number you want to reach. In order to make RakSIP the primary route for outbound calls, change the default call type to Internet, shown below.
