Instant Messenger Setup

Raketu comes with its own instant messenger service, but by adding your existing IM accounts with (Yahoo!, MSN, AOL, ICQ, Jabber, Skype and Google) you can be chatting with all your friends in minutes. Multi-Messenger can be attached to Raketu program or run independently as separate window. To adjust this setting go to: Tools->Options->"Stick" Multi-Messenger to Raketu
During installation Raketu prompts you to check which messengers you want to use and asks for your username and password for these services.

After Installation--Set up additional IM Services 1. Go to Tools / Multi-Messenger SetUp and activate the service of your choice by checking the box beside each messenger name and add your username and password for that service. Modifying your Username and Password for IM Services activated. In Multi-Messenger under the Multi-Messenger Menu "Down Arrow" / Options / Network and click on the service you want to modify.

Adding new IM Contacts

Finding new IM contacts with Multi-Messenger is easy and all in one place. Under the Multi-Messenger Menu "Down Arrow" menu item go to Find/Add Contacts.
Here you can search for IM users on any network.

Instant Messenger Status

The status of your IM account can be changed from the Raketu Multi-Messenger Status menu item, or change them individually from the icons at the bottom left hand corner of the Message Wave control panel.
The figure below shows the Status icons located at the bottom left of the Multi-Messenger dialogue for (in order from l to r) :Yahoo!, Yahoo2! MSN, ICQ, Google, AIM

Note: There are 2 Yahoo! accounts. Yes it is possible to set up 2 IM accounts from the same messenger. If the icon is gray colored , that account has not been set up or is not online.
