My contacts seem to appear offline all the time, when I know they are online?
If you know that your contacts are online, and they appear offline, it is most likely due to a firewall/routing issue. In this case we have included a fix for the problem.
- Simply go to the Tools->Options->Network. Check the box before "Contacts Always Offline?", then click on "Start" button. It will open a message box and the Options dialog window. Read the message and click OK.
- On the Options dialog check the Contacts Always Offline? check box, press the Accept button, and follow the instructions. After a few seconds, you should see the "...Success…" status displayed above the Accept button. If so, everything should be fine, and just click Exit to close the Options dialog.
- If you see a message window indicating that there is still a potential problem, the FIRST time you see this message, just cancel this message, make sure the Contacts Always Oflline? is checked, and Exit the Options dialog, then File->Exit Raketu completely then restart. After the restart, and successful login, wait a few minutes as Raketu attempts to reconfigure itself automatically.
- If Raketu is successful, your contacts that are online should now appear green.
- If Raketu was not successful, repeat the above process, but on the message indicating that Raketu is still having a problem, click the OK button and Raketu will reconfigure and restart itself. Then re-login and wait as Raketu attempts to reconfigure again.
NOTE: once this is resolved, you do not have to change these settings again.
