NOTE: Raketu Program and Raketu Web-Based Technology are INTERCONNECTED. You can call ( pc-pc call, video call) or IM from Raketu program to Raketu web-based programs and vice versa. Everything you can do with Raketu program you can do with Raketu web-based. Does not matter what OS you are running.

pc-pc call from Raketu program - FREE

Rak-Rak Call refers to the calls made from one computer to another computer using Raketu. Rak-Rak calling does NOT use supernodes. Rak-Rak calling is provided at no cost or limit to communicate between Raketu users. These calls are possible for people who have registered and downloaded Raketu application. Make sure to set up your headset, microphone and speakers in order to start a Rak-Rak Call. For PC download Raketu program, for Mobile download mobile version.

Steps to initiate a Rak-Rak Call:

1. Login to Raketu’s application and add your friend’s RakID to your contact list.
2. Set up audio and test it:
   Win XP
   Win Vista
3. Right click on the online username located in your contact list. You will see a menu providing several advanced options.
4. Click on the first option, “Call/DialOut”.

Configuration:

1. Click on the Configure Settings button
2. In the settings window, click "Allow" and check the "Remember" Box.
3. Click "Close".

To initiate the pc-pc call from website:

Login to Raketu website

Use this link in any browser www.raketu.tv/videocall

Login to Raketu website. On the right hand side is a list of your friends. Make sure your friend is online. Click on the video camera icon, start to chat. Or on the left side of the page is a webphone, select your friend from the drop down list located above the webphone and click on the video phone icon. If your friend does not have camera, you can do one way video call as well. You can just IM, or talk (PC-PC) without video.
